What ways are there of earning fame points for your agency?

You get points for each case turned in:
1 for easy up to 9 for an AI
Treasure Hunts also give you points if you win, and of course the cases that you turn in as you compete in them.
Grinding out a lot of AI cases every day (along with the attendant favors) can earn an agency a lot of money and fame points. Not everyone like to work in a factory, so the occasional hunt helps break the monotany.

Thanks for a good answer, do AV hunts add anything to fame other than the 9 points for each AI solved?

No, the AV hunts are just the points per case solved.
