I was working on a hard case, and I had someone who clammed up before I could get an alibi. The Tailor confirmed that it was his thread found at the scene, and another person had reason to believe he had committed the crime, but when I accused him, I was wrong.

ah .. he needs a false alibi.. or TWO accusations.. if not false alibi and an thread.. Only other way is if The other physical evidence points to people with true alibis.
Sorry if a bit confusing sometimes I work cases backwards.

Or no alibi, and two accusations (I think, I haven't played at this level for a while)

Don't forget to ask the motive questions first. If you ask alibi first, then your suspect will clam up before you have identified any other possible suspects.
