The 7th of July, 2007 is International Free Hugs Day.
Tomorrow, Daniel and I are going into Uppsala, Sweden with our sign. This week we hope to be on the streets for at a couple of hours every day supporting and highlighting the Free Hugs campaign.
As you a lot of you know, I moved to Sweden last year to be with Daniel whom I met here on Sleuth.
It's not always easy living so far from home, from family and friends and workmates who will come up to you and give you a hug when you need it or just because.
And in the last year, if I'd seen someone holding a ''Free Hugs'' sign, it would have meant the world to me.
The world sometimes isn't the nicest or easiest place to be in right now, but sometimes a ray of light can make all the difference.
So please, take a risk, make a sign, get out on the streets and make a difference in someone's life this week or month.
It would be great if we had heaps of people from Sleuth participating. And anyone who wants to post there Free hugs experiences or photos here, please do.
