I apologize if this was written someplace else, but as much as I have read about the game I don't remeber seeing this one. I just increased my standing with Green Hand and it says I can purchase the them for 2000. Is there any point to this? Does it help with anything?

The themes give you access to different backgrounds which can be changed from your detective screen. It's located under your gender and you can select it to see the different themes you have available, the default when you begin playing Sleuth is the "Shady Character" and "Classic Sleuth." I personally like the theme for the Green Hand. You can find examples of what the faction themes look like if you go to the "bonus" section and look at the different wallpaper available.

I say go for them all, it's great to have a background/theme to fit your mood.
