Oh and one more thing...
To answer your question, yes you can always trust the advancted analysis. If you find at the crime scene a curly hair, then you know you automatically match up the suspects that have a fake alibi and curly hair, to the evidence....however, that doesnt mean that the killer will be the one with the curly hair or straight hair. The killer could be the one who matches up to the other piece(s) of evidence, as always there is at LEAST 2 pieces of evidence at the crime scene..NEVER just one!

Just to add... imagine you've found out someone has a fake alibi. You've got evidence of curly hair and male clothes. The suspect is a straight-haired woman. You can rule her out without having to ask any questions. If you'd found a hair but didn't know what sort it was, you couldn't rule her out without asking the barber.
As cases get harder and people clam more quickly, you need all the help you can get to stop you wasting questions.
