Like my good pal Eddie Holliday I'd say Al Bowlly, especially for his work with Ray Noble and his Orchestra and Lew Stone's Orchestra.
Rudy Vallee is also great, as are Satchmo, Bing, Dean Martin, Sinatra, Kay Starr, Ella Fitzgerald, Ruth Etting, Billie Holliday and many others.

Bob Nolan and the Sons of the Pioneers, Roy Rogers, Rex Allen (senior, not junior), Smiley Burnette, Gene Autry. I do listen to Bing Crosby sometimes, too.
