I have been wanting to ask you a specific question. Do you know who thought of putting a Nick Cave pic in Noir as one of those suspects' avatars that you frequently see in Shangai?

I don't know, Eden. First I had to look up who Nick Cave was, and I'm still not sure. Maybe next time you see the pic you can snag the pic link?

My first instinct is that someone must have used it for a detective avatar. If it truly only shows up in Shanghai though, maybe it's from a Shanghai Mystery? I bet Secret Squirrel would be a better source than me.

Ok, thank you. I don't know much about Nick Cave either, and I don't know if the following were for his solo albums or from the Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds era, but he wrote these songs Henry Lee and Stagger Lee, Henry getting killed by a girl obsessed with him(PJ Harvey sang the girl's part) and Stagger going about a town in a killing spree as far as I can remember(and doing horrible stuff), the common point to both stories being that their plot developed around crimes, violence, harassment, etc.

And Nick Cave himself looks like a badarse criminal... So he is the perfect guy for Sleuths with dilettante background or for suspects! And yes, I specifically see him in Shangai every now and then.

I'll ask Mr Squirrel when he's around. It's been a while since I last saw him on some board. Hope he shows up.

That might even be just one of the original stock photos that Ben included when he gifted us the additional cities. *shrugs* Sorry I'm not more help.
