Treasure Hunts and holding favours

When traveling for a treasure hunt it is recommended that you hold your favors until needed. My question is, while waiting for that favour to be needed how can you store your cases so that you can rebuild for your next favour? Do you have to be in the city where the agency is located to store cases? If so, then do I just have to hang out in the city....hoping that the favour I am holding is needed? My "gut" feeling is that I should do the favour, collect the cash (I do so love cash and gifts) and try to get the correct favour needed for the hunt in that city.
Thanks in advance for any help

Yes case files are only available in the home city of the agency. Or if you have an apartment in the city you are in, so two cities you can store at least some cases in.

Different agencies do hunting differently so there is no 'wrong' answer as to hold the case or burn through them to try and get the right favour.

Once you know who the guilty person is you can store it without solving. Just put their name in the case note. You can save 4 this way, then when you're ready for your next favor you just finish off those saved cases.

Also when you are in a city that is not agency hq, you can play up to 2 cases before having to solve the favor you are holding. That way after playing your favor and solving it, you need only play one more case to earn a new favor.

As said you can hold your favor and store cases but only in your own home city. If you travel and ask the waiter if he has anything to be done ande lo and behold he does have soething he'd like you to do...then you kinda either just have to sit and wait or do the favor out. As once the favor is opened you wont be able to start any other cases or save them. :)
