Can I run an idea by all you writers and editors. I'm building Ona Missions website... shameless plug here but take a look at :

http://onamissionagency.googlepages.com/home

I have an idea that I like but not sure what everyone else thinks. In the library section I'm setting up Writer's Corner.

The idea here is 3fold, to display short stories in The Gumshoe Diaries (none there yet) to show published/submitted material such as case intro's and Scripted Mystery intro's and crime scene as teasers and finally and importantly:

Peer Review. To save editors a bit of time but mainly to allow writers to receive additional feedback not just from editors but fellow writers I'm setting this area up. The idea is writers can send over drafts of case intro's or bits of Scripted Mysteries and they will be displayed here. There will be a link to PM the author and also a forum (at moment based on Bravenet but if advised I will link it back here) for discussion. My idea for the forum also is for writer's to share thoughts and ideas at the very basic stage or get a big nudge if they get writers block.

So as I said, what do you all think?

Either way is fine to me, I wondered if people felt cagey at shouting things out to Sleuthsville as a whole by using these baords and might want a more cosey enviroment to talk about things. Well either way lets start helping each other out, it seems to be sensible to me to share and help each other in writing and developing stories and I do think polishing things off before they go to the editing stage would be fairer on the editors and mean more got processed.
