Im planning to go get me a Villain soon. Just to experience how it is, anyways, I take it that you have to solve AI cases on your own while travelling through cities. My question is, what if a case is too much for you and you are stuck and is forced to 'quit' the case, would that result in a failure of your villain hunt?

No, the only way you fail a hunt is if you click on the wrong hideout.
Quitting cases will not cause you to fail a hunt!

To the best of my knowledge (says the woman who has not yet done a hunt), the only way to fail your hunt is to accuse the incorrect townie.
I've been told that having to quit cases in the course of a villain hunt is not uncommon, and does not affect your hunt (beyond possibly making it last longer).
And if I'm wrong about this, I'm sure someone will say so!! :-)

Also, you should work on getting both of your London contacts before you go! Your almost there, those are the last two you need!
