I see I can buy Intermediate Skills before I have any skill, does it do you any good to get the Intermediate Skill before you have normal skill?? Like skipping the Intimidate skill and getting the Intermediate Intimidate??

mmm I don't think you can skip skills in the way you suggest.

You have to get Sweet Talking before Intermediate Sweet Talking and then that skill before you can get Advanced ST.

Only way I can think of to skip to Intermediate is when you you set up your detective.

So if you chose a Very Charming Archetype then the game might have automatically give you a base skill like Sweet Talking to start off with, therefore making the next available skill Intermediate.

So don't hang round gathering skill points for Advanced, you'll still have to buy the Intermediate Skill.
