Ok, I am in really good with the Don, but want to switch factions.. what is the quickest way, any advice... Of course I stopped doing favors. Should I also make sure to drop cases that they want me to win? Any other suggestions?

Note, this is just what I think is best. Others may disagree.

jstkdn, i didnt say you were on cosa or dies. You said that "if she wanted to switch from Socrates to Dies." Actually it was Cosa to dies. As usual, I'm just being incredibly picky, you were probably using that as an example. sorry for not being clear. I'm surprised you managed to decode my ramblings :)

Ok now I am seriously confused LOL
So I went and copied my #'s

The Order of Socrates: -15 (Bad)
The Dies Arcanum Brotherhood: -13 (Bad)
La Cosa Nostra: 28 (Good)

I am good with the Cosa right now, and am going to the Dies next.. too many abreviations for a newbie WHEW.. Least My Cosa numbers are going down now, I was at 32!. I have the watch, and skipped on getting the safe cracking as I'm not in a agency

Yes yes, go to Dies. Get yourself 2 canes, and pickpocketing.

Don't get pickpocketing until you have the charm skills for interviewing the towns people and suspects, and the research skill.

I would wait until after lock picking, too.

Plus I don't think you can get two canes if you don't have a place to put one of them while you are buying the other (ie. an agency equipment locker).

Wait to buy the items until the highest price goes down to $14000; then you know the prices won't go any lower.

Good point Dr. I had my agency hat on. Besides I think she bought a wristwatch, that she would want to hold on to. Dang I forgot about lock picking, good point. Will cost her a bit more points then research. SO better getting that one first.

Good call, shame about the hair analysis and then getting a barber contact. :(

Get whatever is the cheapest in skill points first. I am guessing sweet talking is the cheapest to get.

But you do better then I did when I started. I wanted to figure this game out on my own without outside help. I am tough, and ended up getting a bunch of smart skills and equipment. OOPS. I should have been less arrogant.
