* Added two levels of difficulty
* Favors now go up to Incredibly Hard level for experienced players
* A bunch of new favor items were added
* Detectives are now automatically booted from agencies if they become retired
* High scores are now divided by detective age
* Fixed duplicate contact bug
* You are now allowed to use the detective shop while working on a case
* Session timeout from inactivity increased from 5 minutes to 15

Please post any comments or bugs specific to this update here.

wonderful. you should probably let your wife and boss know you are still alive, though, considering how long this must have took you

Want to record down a suspected bug in Stupendously Hard, before I forget. I interview a suspect Rosette, and the next screen tells me she has clammed up. But when I check the Case File, it says "Rosette suspects Alexander".

I'm quite sure about this cause I clicked "Back" button to check.

Also, you can now go to the detective shop while on a case, but still "don't have time" to buy from your faction.

Very cool, now you gotta work on making sure the only suspect doest clam up until you have got some names out of him (see thread 'hopelessness'), or have names mentioned by townspeople show up in the suspect list (thats if you have time, Mr. Great Game Maker and All Around Cool Guy, sir).
I dont know how hard/easy/impossible it would be to actually program that, but if its not too time consuming/frustrating, it might be worth a look.

I think adding the changes Shane suggests would very much counteract what Admin has just done - he's trying to make the game harder, not easier! I don't see why those things would need changing.

Thanks so much for the update, even though I'm still finding Incredibly Hard plenty hard enough :)

I can see where you are coming from, but if you only have one suspect who clams up on the first question (and its happened to all of us, I suspect) it does get a tad frustrating. I dont want the game easier (the challenge level is perfect, IMO), but that is one little niggle that I feel could be improved.

Favors are meant to be challenging. I would expect you to have to quit 30-40% of them. Note, the guage that is used to determine how hard they are is the number of them that you complete, bot your experience. So, they should be self correcting.

This wasnt in a favor. I had a regular case, 2 suspects (client/other), other clammed up.
