Hi All. I would like to ask a question, but amafraid that it was asked already (I did make sure that it's not on the Newbie FAQ). For someone just starting there surely are a lot of threads to read. Wouldn't it be possible to have a search function on here to find the most common topics? My question is: How many experience points does one need before the Ambassador will let you hunt an arch villain? Sorry if this has already been answered.

As far as villain hunts goes, it only deals with Almost Impossible cases... And it's recomended that you have all your contacts in every city...

There is a search function for the boards, but it doesn't rank topics. The Welcome Newbie Thread covers the most commonly asked questions.

YOu must first find the ambassador, and then be able to sovle AI cases all on your own with no help and have a minimum of 100,000xp points.
As Raven said, it is recommended that you have all your contacts in the 4 cities, as it makes it easier to do the cases.

Because Almost Impossible cases can only be opened and processed by Detectives with more than 100,000 experience to their names, and Arch-Villain Hunts involve solving ONLY AI cases, this is why AV Hunts are only open to people with more than 100K exp. ;-)

Thanks for the information everyone. I did find the Ambassador, but this explains why he said I wasn't experienced enough yet. I'm nearly there, though. Just another 99 odd thousand xp to go...
