geez...cases are getting harder...I have handwriting that matches a suspect, and also a witness "seen leaving crime scene",
But then i have another witness for a different suspect "previous attempt" who do i accuse?
so one suspect with 2 accusations (handwriting/witness) and one witness for different suspect!!!!!!!

all of this information given to us in asking for help is useless unless we know whether the person has a false alibi. if the person with a note and someone pointing at them doesn't have a false alibi, then all of that evidence is useless.

Keep in mind, a "perfect" case involves a suspect with a false (or no) alibi, 1 piece of physical evidence, and 2 pieces of witness evidence.

I would accuse with:

2 witness accusations OR

false/no alibi AND physical evidence.

If I can't find out about the alibi, I look for TWO witness accusations in addition to the physical evidence....but the physical evidence is still helpful in knowing which suspect to ask about.

Also, if all the remaining physical evidence is tied to people with verified alibis, I generally feel confident about accusing the person tied to the last piece of physical evidence, even if I can't get two witness accusations, going on a process of elimination.

In your example, for the handwriting person, you would need to have a false/no alibi and/or two witness accusations.

The witness seen leaving crime scene would need either physical evidence or one more witness accusation.

Same with the person who had "made a previous attempt."

In your example specifically, I would say you should concentrate on the two with the witness evidence, as I have never seen witness accusations for more than two people in one case, and one of them should be the guilty party.

More generally, my advice to you would be to try to become more methodical in your questioning, so that you won't end up with such scattered evidence.

Good luck!
