A wish: how to address topics in the message board

I recently read (again) a post in the massage board which was not expressed in a clear way (at least to me). My native language is not English. Although it’s not too bad I couldn’t get the point of the question due to the style the post was written. So my wish to all who are either very experienced in English or have English as their first language: would you mind to address your topics in a clear way, especially in the newbie section? I’m still reading them frequently to learn more about the game.

Thanks in advance
Götz

Please excuse in case above is written in an unclear way. I tried my very best :-))

Biggi, thanks for the offer but it is not a question of translation. It's more a question of e.g. style or abbreviations beeing used. Since I think everybody should be able to share information on these boards I just posted the above.

I really like the game and all the information I get get from the boards. However sometimes it's quit dificult to get the point.

Didn't get it , (I'm really laughing).....but for you to know: there are really sorts of those translators available. Whereby they are mostly available on the internet and don't have two legs:-)))

(Unfortunately, guys, it's called being a high-school teacher, and it doesn't transfer too well between States or countries....those darned teaching credential requirements keep changing from place to place. But it does come in handy for dealing with sophomores. ;-) (Wink)

I'm adding my vote to this one too. I'm a diplomat's kid, grew up all over the world, speak four different languages fluently (including English), and half the time, I have absolutely no clue what some people are talking about. It sometimes takes me quite a while to figure posts out, and occasionally, I never do.... :-/

If you come across a post like that, you might want to PM the detective who posted it and ask them to use proper English next time.
Usually they react nicely to it. Or you just use IGNORE ;)
