Its great to have the tutorial. But I really hope that there are information about what we can do in an agency. the info at the help section is very pathetic. I had not subscribe yet so i have absolutely no clue what are the things I can do in an agency. Sure I can find info here and there in the message boards but these info are not from the official source. it will be great to have the agency option added into the tutorial and let all of us unsubsciber know what we are missing.

Delvin, the game is basically the same when you subscribe, but I think it is a lot more fun.

I also think there is a way to send in a payment if you are not using a credit card - info on this would be at City Hall.

Just by subscribing, you get eight cases a day, rather than three. This means your character can develop more skill faster and solve harder cases, which is more fun.

Subscribing also enables you to join an agency, which allows you to save your cases. You can keep them private, in which case you will be the only one able to open them, or you can save them with a note asking for help from one of your fellow agents. That way, you have access to all of the contacts in your agency, and you can help others as well. It is in this way that participation in an agency really engenders the cooperative aspects of the game.

Not to mention that each agency has a message board which is just for members of that agency to pass along wisdom about the game, humor, etc. and many agencies seem to set up an MSN chat or something as well.

Let's see....there's also a crime lab, which allows you to help each other (one time per day for each agent) to evaluate evidence from a case - in other words, determine whether a plain footprint came from a slim or heavy person, whether a hair is straight or curly, etc.

There is an equipment locker, so when you win things from favors you have the option to save them without having only to either wear everything or sell it -- and you can borrow better items from the locker than you probably have as a newer agent.

And I think the most fun thing is competing for treasures in the hunts. There have been some glitches lately, but it is still fun. Basically, each faction offers a reward for some precious object, and the way to earn it is by doing progressive favors. You have to have the specified favor in order to progress, so this is a way that agency members can really work together for the agency's greater glory.

There's more, like if you need money to pay shady or to buy equipment, you can borrow it, or you can ask agency members who are "in" with a faction to buy something for you that their faction sells.

Also members can leave cases in the files that they don't have time to solve, so you might end up with more than your eight cases per day.

I have found the most fun thing is getting to know a group of great people. I miss them when I am on by myself; the game is not as much fun when I am not chatting with the others in my agency about what we are doing!

In sum, if I had never subscribed and joined an agency, I'm not sure I would still be playing. To me, it is very worth it.

Hope that helps!
