must the avatars be real people or can it be other pictures like cartoons?

My suspicion is cartoons would fall under the "match the look and feel of the game" I don't know that they would be allowed. Personally I like the 30's looking photos.

I agree! I would find cartoons distracting. Even if they were cartoons from the time period, I would still find them a foreign element.

Cartoons should only be allowed in the feature mysteries.

Cartoons don't kill people.
