Are they randomly stocked?
How much do they usually cost?
Can Unsubscribeds buy them?
Im planning to save up and pay Larry for the location next time I run in to him.

Randomly stocked? Nope. Each book has its own location to live in. :)
Cost, depends, Lucy's is reasonable.
Unsubs can buy the ones in New York.

The one at Lucy's is the cheapest one available for sale. All of the others will cost you a LOT more. There are a few that are free, if you can track them down, but none of those are in New York, so you have to be Subscribed to get them.

There's more than one? I went to Lucy's and all I saw there was "Mysterious Affair at Styles" which I bought for 100 bucks.
On another note, the books could very well be the best part of this game. I havent read "Affair" yet and its a gem that I can do so now on this site. Many thanks to the creators of this site.
