Right when I'm about to accuse an obvious guilty suspect for a crime and gain my reward I'm suddenly sent bak to the login page and, when I come back, the case I was completing disappeared! I don't know or think that I got my money and all for this but, if this has been happening often, it's a bug that really needs to be fixed.
I believe I lost $150 from this for bribing the Priest and one of my Cases for the day.

Yeah, the ghost appears occasionally and makes off with stuff. You can report your problem to admin. They may or may not be able to help you (I'm not sure about cases). People tend to get rather ticked when the system ghost makes off with someone's $120,000 ring or necklace every so often (I speak from experience there...;-/ ) Good luck, Andrew. ;-)

It's happened to me once...and I thought the case was gone. I logged back in the next day and lo and behold the case was there!

Every time that particular scenario has happened to me the case reward and xp have been added to my account when I logged back in.
