Does themes means anything? Does it has influence to cases or relations to a faction?

Themes don't mean anything, nor do they influence cases or factions. They are just for looks.

(I personally put a particular theme on to remind me which faction I am working to gain favour with.)

Where does the theme show like what would the difference be (i am considering buying the Order of Socrates theme, is it worth the money) :)

Themes are only worth the money if you don't have something better to do with it.

All the theme does is slightly change the way that your screen looks it has no actual impact on the game.

The themes are basically the same as the the desktop backgrounds you can find and download in the bonus tab at the top of your screen. If you want a sneak-peek of what most of the themes look like, you'll find them there. ;-)
