Yes, it happen to me where the Priest validated a suspect's alibi and that person was in fact the killer. I thought it might have been a glitch, but never got a response when I reported it. I got a fasle accusation because of it. So, yes, it CAN happen, and DID happen to one of my cases.

Townie hints mean about as much as the City News in the bottom of a bird cage. Works great on some stuff, not much use for much else. Sooo, use 'em with a HUGE grain of salt.

Bishtawnay didn't say it was a hint, she said the Priest validated the alibi, which I took as meaning that he said 'Yes, so-and-so was here all the time'. Can we confirm that?
One thing that occurs to me is that it might have been one of the glitches where two suspects have the same name - one had a real alibi and the other was the killer.
