I just got a free character today (I'm not subscribed) and there were only a few pictures of characters to choose from. Then I noticed that other people had different (and much cooler!) pictures of their characters. Do you have to be subscribed to get a different picture for your character? Thanks. :)

You do need to be subscribed yes. And the picture that you get for your character is one that you submit yourself.
