'Wonderful to finally meet you Miss...?' He was an average-looking man. Not to tall, or overly short, he was neither plump nor in desperate need of food. Nothing was remarkable about him from his sandy brown hair down to his slighty awkward stance. Until, as he finished speaking, his lips curved slighty upward. As the corners of his mouth made their ascent his eyes began to sparkle with equal parts intelligence and mischief.

'That was his distinguishing feature' thought Violet Parr, though she hadn't decided if it carefree and excited or exceedingly dangerous and cruel. She wasn't sure that he had decided either. The look of shock on her face began to melt away as her entire body slowly relaxed. She would not let this newcomer get in her way, not after how very far she had come.

'Calm yourself miss, I have no wish to harm you, but if you'll take a moment to mind your surroundings' he waved his hand in a smooth gesture indicating the damp, empty bed and the soaking floor, 'you will see that the situation is still a bit out of your control.' He paused for a moment and took a step to make sure that his back was to the wall and not the door.

Violet stiffened but still did not say anything in return. Defiance burned within her, but she was not without caution when it was needed. Even if he was physically underwelming, the man in front of her was clearly dangerous and was obviously in posession of information she needed.

'My name is Harrelson.' His voice sounded as if it were out for a sunday stroll. 'I've been following you and Mrs Georges since the night of the party on behest of Mr Georges. He knows about this room and has dispatched others here in search of you and the old cow.'

Violet began to shake visably, but there was no fear in her eyes.

'Such a quick temper.' He scolded softly. 'They will not find her here. And they will not find you either... if you can bring yourself to trust me.' His singular grin returned as he continued. 'She is bound and in a room down the hall. All you need do is follow me. Your choice.'

He turned his back to her and calmly walked through the door. 'Oh and don't worry about your room and it's interesting condition. I want the men Georges sent to enjoy the gift I left for them and would hate for someone to ruin their little "suprise."

Harrelson grinned to himself. 'Curiousity is such a wonderfully interesting motivator.' he murmered to no one in particuar.

Yoyo stood alone in the ally with Arsenio. He made a list in his head of what he could do with him. 1. 'Pop' him off 2. Wound him severly 3. Tie him up or somethng of the sort. He decided on number 3 the situation hadn't escalated enough for number 1 or 2.
'Get on the ground and put your hands where I can see them' yoyo ordered. Normally he woudn't have used that phrase but it was embedded into his brain from when he was on the police force. Arsenio did as he was told. Yoyo frisked him and confiscated his revolver rounds. 'Thanks I could use this'
'Shut up' Arsenio responded as he laid on the ground.
'Normally I would read your rights, but lets just say I'm not in the mood.' Yoyo put a hand cuff on one of his hands, another thing he kept with him since his days on the force. He then helped Arsenio up and walked him to an out of order street light used to illuminate the backdoor of the Tricky Mister. Since the light was fairly far down the alley Yoyo was sure no one would see Arsenio. Yoyo turned his acquaintance around and put the chain of the hand cuffs around the lampost and then on Arsenio's other hand. This way Arsenio was stuck there, back to the lamp post so that he couldn't try any funny stuff with the cuffs.

Miss Parr had once again decided to act against her better judgment. She was by no means in a bargaining position, and she more than anyone knew that, at times, one had to swallow one’s pride and act in one’s best interests.

Violet Parr masterfully suppressed her fear, made her anger vanish and managed to smile politely. "Very pleased to meet you Mr. Harrelson, allow me to introduce myself, I am Miss Violet Parr... Now I seem to be confused as to whether or not you work for Mr. Frank Georges, but, seeing that I do not in the very least fear this man, I suppose it does not really matter either way."

Miss Parr awaited for a response from this dark, ordinary looking man, but then once more the man responded with a slight curving of his lips -Miss Parr could not call it a smile- that made him look anything but ordinary.

Violet looked into Harrelson’s eyes, deep into the core of his soul, ensuring her smile is maintained throughout the duration of her gaze. Miss Parr had no difficulty giving people trust. It was because her trust in her own self and abilities was so profound, trusting others came to her with ease: “If a decision turned out to be a bad one…” she always told herself, “I could simply make another decision.”

Harrelson looked with wonderful curiousity at Miss Parr as she tried harder to examine her damp surroundings. She suddenly shrugged off her own curiousity and decided it would be better to avoid whatever liquid was poured altogether.

“I cannot let Aisha Georges escape me before I get the information I urgently need out of her.”

“Miss Parr,” Harrelson, still slightly smiling started, “no one said you needed to do that at this point in time.”

Violet was sceptical, but managed to skilfully hide it. Harrelson gestured for her to leave the room first and assured her with his eyes that he will follow and further guide her.

Miss Parr thought twice, but finally decided to practically fly from the damp motel room, nodding to Harrelson politely in thanks as she proceeded.

Once out of the room, they moved toward swiftly toward their new destination, pausing only once or twice when Harrelson called for it. Violet moved gracefully without any sign that she had just left a volatile situation, or that she could be moving into a trap much worse. She had made her decision and shed the fears of doubt, seeming even more anxious to continue than the curiously plain looking man that followed her.

Harrelson watched her whenever they would stop, an odd expression on his face. During the second pause on their trip he blurted out, “You’re quite intoxicating. Your beauty that is.” But the look he was giving her was more akin to a strange scientist studying a bug in a jar than to a man leering at a beautiful woman. “Saintpaulia ionatha, indeed.” He murmured.

Though Miss Parr was unfazed by his unusual mannerisms, she glanced back once or twice to see how he was looking at her only to find that he wasn’t watching her at all. His eyes darted back and forth to bizarre angles at random intervals and the only time his eyes touched her was in transit. Violet followed his gaze and found that he was staring at every mirror and reflective surface they passed. He was either extremely vain, obsessively paranoid, or someone always keenly aware or his surroundings. His plain appearance and easy manner suggested the latter.

“Here we are, Miss Parr.” Harrelson motioned the nearest door on their right. “The wife of my former employer” he emphasized the words, “waits for you on the other side of this door.” He handed her a key took a step back.

He pursed his lips together and relaxed his hands behind his back. Nodding toward the room he said, “I believe you’ll find Mrs. Georges in a much more talkative mood than she has been in the last few weeks. Apparently, she finds me rather frightening. Or perhaps some of the ideas I mentioned while moving her here. Curiosity can shape ideas in new and frightening…. Look at me rambling on. Please forgive me, Miss Parr.”

Violet indicated her forgiveness with a dismissive wave of her hand. She inserted the key, turned it, and then hesitated for a brief moment.

“Ladies first.” Said Harrelson as he grinned slowly and bowed deeply.

"Gerroffme!" Arsenio struggling to keep the men away from him. "I AM NOT going back to the Philippines! Get off!" Arsenio then suddenly remembered the knife in his socks.

Arsenio took it and used one of the men as a human shield. "Now then, I bid you adieu." Said Arsenio before jumping into the water.

"Let's see ye' get back to shore!" Shouted one of the sailors. "You won't be able to see me once I am back in shore!"

Arsenio looked to the other direction. He could still see the New York harbor. "Just watch and wait. I'm coming!" Arsenio said as he started his long swim back to shore...

"Urgh... finally... I... I made it! HAHA! I made it!" Arsenio said with a struggle as he got back to his feet 7 hours later. "Time to see Victor Chen for another spare Deringer..."

"Arsenio? MY! Bloody hell! Your soaking wet!" Said Victor Chen a half an hour later as Arsenio stood in the chapel. "I need another Deringer..." "Why yes yes of course but first we must get you some new clothes! Come I have a spare black trench coat in the back come on..."

An hour later Arsenio came back to Victor Chen after a good bath. "A Deringer NOW." "Calm down boy! I'll get you one hold on." Said Victor Chen as he went out of the room.

Ten minutes later Victor Chen came back holding A deringer pistol along with 40 bullets. "Classic Dies Arcanum Deringer pistol able to shoot 8 rounds before reloading not like the old-fashioned 35. revolver." Victor boasted as he gave Arsenio the Deringer and the 40 bullets.

Arsenio loaded up and went to the Tricky Mister for a good cocktail. "Wherever they are I'll get them. I have no intention of killing. I just wanna show what I did came to do." Arsenio said as he put back the picture of "them" back in his pocket and got a good cocktail from the bartender...

Miss Violet Parr shook off Harrelson’s compliment as soon as she heard it. She realised at a very young age that any inflation of the ego would very likely prevent her from attaining any substantial form success or happiness in her life. She was very curious and a little worried at his reference to the African Violet. Very few people knew that it was her most-favoured flower of choice.

Miss Parr was very intrigued by Harrelson’s observant nature, and moreover wondered if he was as alert to his surroundings as she usually was to her own.

“Here we are, Miss Parr.” Harrelson motioned to a door on her right. “The wife of my former employer” he emphasized his words, “waits for you on the other side of this door.” He handed her a key and took a step back. Violet hesitated.

Harrelson continued. “I believe you’ll find Mrs.

She was not trying too hard to make sense of his words as her mind was being occupied with her upcoming course of action.

“Ladies first…”

As soon as her Harrelson bowed, Miss Violet Parr decided it was time for another chaotic moment. She quickly turned the key into the door, took it out of the keyhole, entered the room, and, with a quick reflex, closed the door behind her and locked it twice over. “You will have to excuse me Mr. Harrelson, but I do value my privacy with Mrs. Georges, as you must understand we-”

“OH! Mizz Barrrrr!” Aisha Georges was slumped on the floor of the room, by choice it seemed. She was very surprisingly eager to speak with Violet. “Come, I will tell you all you need to know about thiz matterrrr.”
