No guilty suspect?

I'm working on a hard case where 2 suspects have false alibi's and a 3rd wont talk.

I checked all PE and it was negative for all 3 suspects.

I've asked all suspects who they think is guilty, and they've all said no to all 3 suspects.

How can that be?

You may be missing either a suspect or evidence. You can pay the fortune teller $20 to see if you have all the suspects. If you don't have basic hair and thread skills, you likely aren't finding all the evidence.

I did pay the fortune teller. I have all the suspects and no one clammed up on me except one suspect.

Everyone answered all my questions about all 3 suspects without clamming up.

Just because you have two people with false alibis doesn't mean you've found ALL of them. In a hard case, there can be up to FOUR people with false alibis, and eight suspects in total usually. (Only ONE of those people will be your killer, and have both a fake/no alibi, and two witness statements against him/her.) The witness statements can come from any of the suspects, and can also point to people with real alibis. However, like I said, only the KILLER will have two, and a false alibi. Like CFM said, chances are pretty good you're missing a suspect and probably some evidence somewhere. Sorry. :-(

If you dont have the basic hair and thread skills, you wont find any hair or thread at the scene. Could it be that you are missing PE?
