I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on what skills to purchase. These are the skills I currently have:

Research
Advanced Sweet Talking
Advanced Rule Bending
Advanced Thread Analysis
Advanced Hair Analysis
Flirting

I'm up to ridiculously hard cases and getting 1 skill point after each case. I was wondering if I should get some intimidation skills because it's getting harder to get the townspeople to talk. Or should I get some smarts skills? I am planning to subscribe sometime soon, and I plan on getting contacts in each city.

Go with the smart skills (investigation skills) first.

Those and the Interview skills (Tough or charming) are the ones that traditionally people work on first.

Then faction skills.

Then the other side of the Interview coin.
