The power of Sleuth is now in your hands!

There is now an online Scripted Mystery editor available in the new Writer's Workshop section of City Hall. The idea here is better empower all of you to contribute your own content, which will hopefully keep things fresher for longtime players.

Also, if you just want to keep the mysteries you write private, you can can choose to do that. We'll be providing ways to share those private mysteries with your friends soon.

Note: Scripted Mysteries = Featured Mysteries, although since we're likely to have a lot more of them soon, eventually we'll start to "Feature" some of the "Scripted" mysteries, and the non featured ones will just be referred to as Scripted Mysteries. Confusing?

Feel free to use this thread for questions about the Mystery Editor and to discuss mystery writing.

If you had previously submitted a mystery by email, feel free to resubmit it through the tool. Doing so will also allow you to preview the mystery before it is published for public consumption.

I'm looking forward to see what you all come up with!

I've already started some work on my first fm: The mentor's wish.

I was just wondering do you still get a 'reward' when you write a FM. Not that I need one but due to the increase of mysteries that we might be getting, more rewards will be given out (using the current system). Or has the reward system changed?

I'd just like to say that I am editing the first FM with this system, and it's very user-friendly.

Get to writing FMs! This interface makes it 10 times easier!

I was wondering where did the submit avatar go to?
It used to be together with the intro's, but now with the new (GREAT!) workshop, it's gone.
If newbies ask about avatars, where do I send them to?

Is there a way to submit a photo for a charcter in a FM? I have a finished FM, and wanted to use a certain photo for one of the characters. Is it possible?

All of the Sleuth Avatars are up for grabs in the photo choosing, so if you submit a photo for an avatar, you could then use it?

At least, you can do that until Ben adds a feature for this.

For some reason, when a person gives their alibi, it's not automatically putting the alibi verification question in for the townie. I don't necessarily want this to happen because I like making my own questions and answers, but the notes say it is supposed to. And it does work for the PE townies for checking evidence. So I just want to check if this is right.

Secondly... I don't know if it's because I don't have any smart gear on when I am testing it, but the evidence doesn't tell me the characteristics... like straight/curly, heavy/slim, etc. I have my case marked as AI now, so maybe i should make it Easy until I am done creating it? Or do we not have the ability to show the characteristics of evidence?
