I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

WELL I AM KIND OF NEW HERE AND DIDN'T ENCOUTER THE HOLE FEUTURES OF THE GAME.
WILL I FACE SAME FACTS LATER LIKE : TIME OF MURDER OR FINGER PRINTS ? THAT WHOULD MAKE IT EVEN MORE EXCITTING.AND THROUGH OUR CONTACTS TO FIND OUT WHICH TIME OUR SUSPECTS WERE IN A PLACE
ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO SEE A MORGE DOCTOR.
OTHER THAN THAT I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT.

just read most of the adds and i saw that nobody thought about time of murder and from which time to which time a suspect was in a certain place.
I am not saying that this should be put from the easy leveles but, could be workable in harder cases.just a thought to make our minds trying little harder.

Question 1: Yes
Question 2: See below
Question 3: Just right. After all, I get to choose my difficulty level.

Problems #1:
Occasionally a detective picks up a skill they don't want. Sometimes by accident, sometimes by being uninformed (like choosing flirting before either rule bending or sweet talking). It would be neat to have a way to reverse this and get their skill points back, but in a manner that it can't be abused.

Problem #2:
Big Lucy's Cabaret is expensive for novice detectives, and offers them nothing in return (character building wise).

Problem #3:
After getting a feeling for the flavor of the game, some people may want to change their character's name (Or add a nickname or alias).

Here are 2 suggestions that I think would solve all 3 problems.

Suggestion #1: Big Lucy's "special" gin
Have Big Lucy sell a $50 "special" alcoholic beverage that is so strong it makes the detective forget a chosen skill (but it returns all/most of their skill points they spent on that skill). They can now spend them on something new. Because Lucy is only available occasionally and between cases, this couldn't be abused during a case by power gamers. It also allows newbies (who are the most likely candidates for choosing an unwanted skill) something to do at Lucy's.

Suggestion #2: Add an Alias
Have a character in some city offer to sell false ID papers (that allow a detective can change their forum name). So as not to be abused, or to have to fiddle with the database to much, the original detective name should still be used for log in and always be visible from the character sheet. The idea is to just add a field in the database for an alias. Then allow the detective to choose if they want to be known by their original "log-in" name or their new "alias" for purposes of posting in the forums, being listed in an agency, etc. For a fee, the alias could be changed again and again, but only 1 alias is allowed/stored at a time.

I have just had a problem where my detective got revoked and that left my agency with only an officer in charge because dumb me didn't make my next in line a director earlier like I should have.
I think you should make it so that if a director gets revoked out of their agency (by their stupidity like me) that if only an officer is left then they should automatically become a director.

You aren't the first Maddie to have this happen. It's all part of the game.

It's fun
but you kind of figure out the pattern after many cases. Yeah, it's still fun.

to make the game more fun, add some personalities into characters like suspects and the shop people.

the game level is fine

I forgot to add that if you can include a family for the detective and have them tell you something about the case, that would be cool.
