I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

Kidgame, I don't know if they could differentiate (sp?) between the different blood types in the 1920's.

kidgame2004,
Fingerprint, Blood, and Tooth Analysis? Good ideas. Ben should know more about them. We need some Mods here to question, comment, and agree/disagree with these ideas. It looks like jojo227 has some questions about Blood Analysis in the 1920's :)

I just did a very quick internet search and it seems the main blood groups had been discovered by 1902. I think the question is more, when did the police start testing blood at crime scenes to provide forensic evidence? Although I like the idea of us Sleuths being one step ahead of the police at all times ;-)

You've got some good ideas, Kidgame - maybe they can be incorporated into future versions of the game.

More to the point is... when was blood type being used in people's medical files? I doubt very much recording bloodtype in medical files happened over night and doubt even more that suspects are going to let you prick their finger for you to test it. :)
There are a dozen evidence types that might be included but how far should it be taken? Too far and the game will be excessively complex, requiring that much more time to solve cases. I think it's pretty good as is. Just replace that pickpocketing with something more useful, eh!

1. the game is fun; funner than playing solitaire :D

2. play with other detectives even if your not subscribed.

3. imo the game difficulty is just fine

*Reviewing kidgame2004's ideas*

- FINGERPRINT ANALYSIS
Police Station
Police Officer

- BLOOD ANALYSIS
Hospital
Doctor/Nurse

- TOOTH ANALYSIS
Dental Building
Dentist

I like these ideas! I would love to see them appear on Sleuth. I think that these could be used sometime in the future . . . why not?

kidgame, colonel shanty, do you not think that introducing all these new things just complicates the game. All the other pieces of physical evidence only have two possibilities. Each of these have a variety of possibilities, which would make the game considerably more difficult, dont you think? I'm not sure if these posts really belong in this thread either?

Yes I know it would make things harder. Perhaps if they were made they could only be used for featured mysteries. Most featured mysteries dont have much in the way of physical evidence so maybe the ideas we have here could be used for future featured mysteries.

How about adding an accomplice to AI cases? A second suspect without alibi is an accomplice to the primary suspect but can only be identified with witness evidence or townie evidence. If you successfully identify the accomplice then you get a bonus of $1000 dollars (and 1000 xps? sweeten the pot even more), say, since during many AI cases you often have a good chance 1k just on bribes. You can still accuse the primary without the accomplice, of course, but getting the accomplice just adds that much more spice.

Hey, we're still adjusting to our new life with Impossibles. Why do you want to make things harder already!?
