I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

I second Fat Chuck. I think some "lower-level" favor items -- like seal skin stuff, tommy guns, white lab coats -- are very desirable. Maybe at least let these things get through if not the grey umbrellas and plaid scarfs of the world: that is, maybe have high-level favors give *both* 12000 and 8000 value items (and even higher level favors give 14000, 12000, *and* 8000 value items).

I agree with Sirgarr and Fat Chuck. Jwonie, don't simply object without knowing what it gets to be like later :) You're not getting Rasputin's Eggs and other such fun "high" level items (no, I love the eggs though, honestly). I could certainly have voiced the same opinion back in my time of endless grey umbrellas, but times do indeed change. Nowadays, I would not mind at all if I received an umbrella or two every now and then :)

Negasong is absolutely right about beginners having access to high level items anyway.

And the last thing that has bugged me lately: when the favours only went up to Really Hard, I did that for about 2 months (ok, not nearly, but it feels like). Therefore, after the update I've jumped straight to Incredibly Hard favours, which in itself is absolutely right for me. But - does this mean I've missed out on a whole level of fun items?

Yes, sorry. There is a bunch of items associated with Really Really Hard favors that you advanced detectives missed out on.

I'll tweak it so that favors can give you items from further down the ladder.

well, after careful deliberation, i think that it IS a good idea for the high level favors to have a little variety for the levels. on the lower level ones, especially freelancers, it might prove kinda frustrating. in that vein, i am in favor of the experience minimums for stat bonuses for high level items. we all still want the game to be semi-fair for non-subscribers, right? i'm preobably not seeing this issue clearly anyway because i don't know what the high level items are like, and i don't know what it's like to be a non-subscribe freelancer.

Is there anyway that you can give us an option do delete messages on the message board (regarding to agencies) that way it wont get to be to long. or admin can do a weekly or monthly clean up for the ones that are nolonger being replied too? But if you did offer a delete message only the directors and or officers can have that option.

What if I give directors/officers the ability to lock posts, so that they are still viewable, but can no longer be replied to? That way, they would work their way down the list, so they wouldn't get in the way of more current stuff, but the message would still be there, if anybody was interested in going back and reading old stuff.

(This might be hard to explain, sorry if I'm not making sense here...)

When you uncover a new suspect, and they get added to the list (on the map screen), how are they put in order? Sometimes a new suspect is put on the top of the list, sometimes in the middle, and sometimes at the bottom. A person's location on the list seems to be pretty random.

It would be a lot more convenient to have new suspects added to the bottom of the list, rather than scattered randomly throughout. For note-taking purposes, that is...

Does anyone else also feel this way? And if so, if this a change that might be easily implemented, or is the list ordering too closely tied into game mechanics...?

Alternatively, if that's too hard to figure out with the current code -- at least make uninterviewed suspects' names appear in a different color?

UL -- If you take notes in Notepad, you can move the names around. :)
