I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

Addendum -

2) How about a way to trade in unwanted skills, say at half-cost?

That has been suggested before, not sure why it hasn't been added, though.

2) Nyeh heh heh... try this.

"I took a sip from the goblet.

At first, nothing.

Then a wave of nauseating dizziness hit me hard, so hard that I fell off the stool. The faces of the others hovered hazily into view above me, the movement of their mouths eventually blurring into a welcome unconsciousness.

I awoke who-knows-how-much later, lightheaded and oddly hungry. Someone brought me a cup of water; thinking of the last time I was offered a drink, I declined, thanking my host as I made my woozy way to the door. If nothing else, I thought, at least I can fill this empty slot in my head with something else.

Oh, for a spanikopita."

Thank you, thank you, thank you for adding the message on the client page that clearly states you cannot accuse your client without a motive.

The number of posts about this seems to have gone down dramatically already, thank goodness.

Why don't the favors always show the same level as is listed on the case opening page? I would find it helpful if the levels were described with consistent terms.

Also, I don't like the levels that have varying numbers of suspects. It seems odd to have them be easier levels, for one thing, and it's frustrating when playing at those levels to possibly waste a question on several suspects only to find you had them all several questions ago.

Actually I was considering making all levels have varying numbers of suspects. It seems to me that being unsure of the exact number of suspects is appropriately mysterious.

As for favor levels, where do they change?

Hmmm. Being unsure of the exact number of suspects probably is appropriate - more true to life, and all. And I think it will make the solving potentially slightly harder, which is not a bad thing. But getting the suspect list fleshed out is my LEAST favorite part of playing. It feels like the busiest of busy work. So I am not sure putting more energy into this aspect of case solving is a good thing.

As for the favor levels, one thing I am aware of is that favors will say "difficult" which is not one of the levels on the case file opening page. This is at a lower level than getting "incredibly" favors, so it comes up with newer agents who aren't getting incredibly favors yet.

I think changing the number of suspects at the higher levels would make it not just 'slightly' harder, but significantly harder - at the higher levels, you don't have many spare questions to play with, and no bribery or contact options to help you when folks clam up.

On favors, I always thought difficult was synonomous with 'hard'.
