I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

how about a mailbox sort of thing, for private messages. that way noobies wouldnt have to stumble around with their pop-up blockers and you could save important messages and notifications. would that be too hard to execute?

oh, and also, i have a question about difficulty levels for favors. it seems ever scince you've introduced the difficult level favor, i've been stuck on it, even some 20000 experience later. anyway i'm wondering if this is what is supposed to happen or what, because i ought to get some better items that a crystal pendant!

Jwonie,
Favors difficulty is based on how many you have successfully completed, not directly on exeprience. You should be moving up after a few more favors.

I'm sad that as you get more advanced, you can no longer get less valuable favor items. I'd really like to get a hold of a couple more tommy guns (and if possible a rattlesnake coat), but no longer can. :( Anyway to work around this?

I believe one of the factions sells tommy guns. You could also ask an up and coming detective in your agency to keep an eye open.

I could make it so that sometimes favors yield lower value items, but people might feel ripped off if it happened to them.

"Stupendously Hard" is pretty enjoyable, it got me out of my routine of solving "Incredibly Hard," now I have to think a lot more creatively and use all the information about evidence patterns, # of innocent people, etc.

Ok, this is just a thought. Would it be very complicated to make it so that you COULD get any item for any level of favour, but the harder the level, the higher the chance for high-level items? I think a system like that could make it all nicely varied and exciting.

I think that if you were a player who was just starting out, and you got lucky and received an item that you could sell for $5000, that would make things a little too easy for awhile. You could bribe indescriminately, and not really worry about false accusations.

I could make it so that high level favors sometimes award lower level prizes. As long as people wouldn't be too upset by that.
