I have a couple of questions I'd like some feedback on. Please Answer by replying to this post.

1) Is the game fun? Really fun, kind of fun, funner than going to the dentist?

2) Can you think of anything that would make the game more fun?

3) Is the game too hard? Too easy?

Thanks
-Ben

My reply here will appear a couple of pages ahead from where the brilliant Evita posted the suggestion, but I think collaborative hunts would be awesome! Like, where two or more agencies would somehow have to work together to get through the hunt successfully.

Conversely, in the opposite spirit, is there something that could be done in tandem with the above that would increase the competitiveness of the agencies? I can't think of anything specific, but something other than hunts that would pit them against each other?

And what about doing something with the political factions-making them rowdier somehow?

I have a suggestion regarding sending and receiving messages. I would like to have a little more space to type. Many of the messages I need to send to other detectives in my agency are three to five sentences long. I almost alway run out of space. I hate to send it in a second message because sometimes the second message erases the first one when it pops up and before it's read. I've had similar problems when I receive more than one message from different people. The messages replace each other before I've had time to read them. I've also had messages erased when they've popped up just as I've opened a pop-up window for information on an item. I wish each message would appear in a new window and would only be deleted when I close the window or send a reply.

1) A Private Message overhaul has been needed for awhile. I'll have to put a little more thought into it, but I'm not sure we can continue to do the popups thing and get the improvements most people want.

2) I think something that would be cool would be to have head to head competitions (wars) between two agencies. Some kind of challenge that two agencies can agree to, and last a week or two. Can't think of a narrative reason for something like that now though. Ideas?

3) Congratulations Jojo! Put one of your accessories in the locker, so you have a free hand, and I'll give you a super special prize.

Ok. Should I put a hat, coat, or hand accessory in. (I'm assuming hand, and so thus am doing it.)

What would be really cool is if we could have a place in the agency with a grid of the agents on one side, and the townies on the top (or vice versa) where you could check who you were holding a favor for, and then uncheck it when it changed.

Admin: regarding head-to-head competition narratives...what if one of the factions said they'd give something or do something to the team who could _______ fastest/best/whatever.

Also, any way we could have collaborative hunts where two agencies would have to work together? Maybe as simple as some kind of hunt where X number of favors have to be done by one team, and X number done by the other?

I know I'm asking a lot here ;)

Maybe the mayor, for example of course, had the key to the city stolen. He might need two of the agencies to help him find it. They would each get a clue and start off.

I like the two agencies togther idea. Maybe the two agencies could join up, briefly of course, and work on doing so many favors.

I also had another idea. How about a featured mystery. However, the whole agency works on it. Like to get an aliby, the agency would have to do a favor for that shopkeeper. And for each time they want to check a piece of evidence in the agency case, they have to do a favor for that shopkeeper. And to ask a shopkeeper if they knew anything, they'd have to do a favor. ECT. ECT.

I'd write the first agency featured mystery, if the free subscription still applied.

Suggestion: a mall where items can be bought and sold.
