We all talk about game improvements we'd like to see, new items, clothes, twists mechanics etc

So I was wondering if Ben came to you and said "OK I will implement ONE thing; ONE thing that you think will improve yours (and others if you like) gaming experience on Sleuth right now."

What would it be?

[I'll make the proviso that it has to be about the 'game' and can't be about 'anyone' lol :p]

Mine is simple.

If I could have it right now, I'd ask for a better PM/Message system.

Different items, not better, just different.
It gets really boring after awhile getting the same old crap.
Maybe have an item of the month...

That, and better rewards for A.Is. I've always thought the items/price of items were pretty ridiculous and more so since the hunts.

Also, now that there is a Code of Conduct, wouldn't it make sense to have it posted somewhere? Or a link to it? I might have missed that though.

Oh... and what is the point of having an invite to someone's place if you can't leave them a message? I think all apartments should have message boards.

Also, agree with Ran and whoever else about Cairo and hunts there even though I haven't been.. it would make sense that Cairo is used for hunts.

Sleuthmail I guess too and more space and a better equipment inventory... maybe an autosell option and then the detective shop can be used as a trading post... it would be cool to be able to place you items there and dictate the price.

Oh.. and I do think a backdoor to thepalace makes sense too, if that isn't already in place.

In general, I guess I'd like to see more updates.. they don't have to be big .. but it would be cool if every month, for example, the last Thursday, there was a new update. That is, a back door to the palace, a new item or more furniture or something.

I think it would be fun to have clues in the introduction, not the curly/heavy/leftie type of clues but something more interesting. Or maybe having a location aside from the crime scene to investigate. Such as the victim's study, to see if there are any clues like: "You find Mr. E's journal and the day before his murder he wrote that he was afraid that Mr. Nicely Nets Finetly Jets, his bookie, was going to try to kill him." Which would give you a name of a suspect and a new type of evidence that is only good with an additional type of evidence. Maybe this could be available in more advanced cases, maybe appear randomly or perhaps be a skill. I also like the idea of suspects being each others alibis.

Sunniva, having suspect's have there alibis be other suspects would be a problem. I mean there are very few chances to ask questions, and having to verify alibis would take away from answering questions which could be used for finding WE.

I think the kind of clues that you want Sunniva probably do get covered somewhat in the Scripted / Feature Mysteries, where clues and plot lines don't have to follow the normal standard.

Yoyofoshow, regarding what you responded to Sunniva, that's true about it taking away from the suspect questions but at the same time if you have three suspects who all have the tailor as an alibi and three threads and the tailor isn't a contact for you, or your in another city than your agency, then you run across the problem of the PE. (This happened to me today! Arghh!)

You know, I'm not sure how this would work, and it's probably totally whacky, how would having agency skills work? Perhaps fame could be spent on agency skills. I haven't seen this at all, and it may already exist in a dimension of this game heretofore hidden from me, but crime lab rentals for agencies traveling to another city. Sister agencies! (You can see that this is all going back to that tailor problem.)

I think I see what I really want...a new tailor! Maybe we need a haberdashery in the cities for the men to go to. So we could use the tailor for women and the haberdashery for men!

Yeah, changing direction here...

I dunno if this has been raised before - probably has, but I've got me the lazies right now- but you know what I think would be cool? Being able to quit treasure hunts your agency has opened to avoid burning favours on hunts that seem to be going nowhere instead of having them available for the hunts you really wanna be concentrating on.

Wrote the same thing in my princess canopy diary, honestly :P

not quite 'outbox' cool, but cool nonetheless...
