In honor of that lousy waste of a month February being over, I have decided to hold the first-ever Sleuth March Madness Tournament!

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You must be subscribed and over 30 days old
You must PM me with your intent to enter the tournament or to nominate an eligible member for the tournament. If you are nominating someone, you must also be subscribed and older than 30 days.
Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

Please begin sending your nominations and entries to me ASAP, and good luck!

Miss Violet Parr embarked upon the unseemly task of writing her recommendation letter using sheets of white paper and bottles of purple ink. She thought: "How can someone write a recommendation for Coco Cola...? Where would one begin...? What end can there be to foresee!"

"Ladies & Gentlemen -perhaps even Children at times- of Sleuthville,

I believe that a vote in this context must be a vote for the community, rather than one of pure personal preference. Lady Coco Cola has been a part of this community for a very, very long time. Her effort put in this site has been linked very directly to her many sleepless nights.

Her sheer positivism in welcoming newcomers has been experienced by me, along with others inside and outside of our agency. Once a friend, she will always remain loyal... and to me this agency cannot ask for a better, more loyal or dedicated friend... nor can this town for that matter..."

Miss Parr stopped, held the sheet of paper up in both hands, and then read it out loud. She decided to crumple it up, throw it away, and get a new sheet.

Reasons to vote for Tinuviel:

1. When you tell her a joke, her laughter is funnier than the joke and you end up laughing.
2. Her hiccups are hysterical.
3. She can pinch with her toes.
4. When Sleuthing, she resembles the Goddess Shiba: she's working on a treasure hunt, chatting to our newbies on msn to help settle them in, PMing numerous players on Sleuth, reading the message boards, working on the agency's website and casually drinking a cup of coffee with the free hand.
5. She's so friendly that after a couple of days of knowing her, you feel like you've known her for a lifetime.
6. She has a beautiful voice. It gives me goosebumps.
7. She moonlights as a proofreader (yes, this is aside from being a medical student and being able to fly) and always stands up to our boss. She always calls him on his BS.
8. She would be the ideal female Egyptian President.
9. She just had a rough visit to the dentist yesterday, and winning this round would really cheer her up.
10. She started all the audience waves at the final soccer game when Egypt won the African Cup. She had the Egyptian flag painted on her left cheek. :)

VOTE TINUVIEL!!! :D

Everyone who's posted for Tinuviel has told you all what a wonderful person and Sleuther she is. I couldn't agree more.

Groundbreaker in Sleuthdom. The lovely pictures in Cairo are thanks to her. Can't go to Cairo without thinking of Tin.

But you know, what really gets my vote for Tinuviel is her fearlessness on the Boards of Sleuthdom. I gotta vote for the woman that posts a Fetish thread and then leads off by sharing her own or belly dances for Ben and the whole Sleuth community. She's the best! :)

Vote for Tinuviel!!

Whatever you do, vote AGAINST CHELSEA BANDO so you can wallow in evilness for a long time as you savor the fact that you have destroyed so many brackets.
My goal is to ruin as many brackets as possible in the competition, and having a number one ranked seed drop out early is a great way to cause mischief.

Besides, no one else in this contest would even think of supporting me, so this way when I lose this round I can blame the entire community for its lack of support and feel satisfied. I will harp on this fact for the rest of the year, especially to new people in chat. Then to make myself feel better for losing, I will convince my parents to take me out to a fancy restaurant for dinner tomorrow. So by voting against me today, you will help me take advantage of my parents.

Remember folks, a vote for chelsea = your name on my hitlist

LOL I don't know whether to vote for you or not now Chelsea ;)

Putting myself in Ranier's corner yet again.

Have I told you about her(his) spreadsheet?

She gave me so much info for the agency site it was almost SCARY. Girl is DEDICATED.

She worked very hard on it, that kind of nutso devotion to a game deserves some sort of reward. NO YOU CANT SEE IT!

VOTE FOR RANIER!!!!! She's the coolest trannie ever in my book (well, her and Zanjana lol)

Plus, honest to god, I'm scared of Chelsea if she wins, she CLEARLY wants that dinner....

Vote for Serges of course. Without him, we would have no AVL, no March Madness, no random threads, no kickstabing...well, I guess I can do without the last one.

VOTE FOR SERGES!

*sends Ms. Helen a dozen hand-dethorned roses perched upon a moleskin pillow, 3 jigolos with nice abs, a recession-buster sized bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon, a dribble bib, a Barry White CD and a silken mood thong because I was pretty sure I was going out on that one and she's just wicked and deserves good things*

Vote Canoe socks! (yeah that oughta secure the Canadian vote)
