In honor of that lousy waste of a month February being over, I have decided to hold the first-ever Sleuth March Madness Tournament!

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You must be subscribed and over 30 days old
You must PM me with your intent to enter the tournament or to nominate an eligible member for the tournament. If you are nominating someone, you must also be subscribed and older than 30 days.
Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

Please begin sending your nominations and entries to me ASAP, and good luck!

mmm more unsolicited support.

This time for the person who for the last couple of months has kept me more interested in Sleuth than I have been for a while.

Carrie Mehome.

It's actually been fun (in a strange masochistic 'I hate Delhi' kinda way) chasing her around Sleuthville's dusty streets, and trying to slip past her on the Villain Hunt high scores list.

If you want to vote for someone who plays Sleuth the way it is meant to be played, a vote for Carrie wouldn't go astray.

John Q. Publik has always been a mentor to me; I feel like he and Tinuviel really took me under their wing when I was first recruited. He’s a fantastic roleplayer; I’ve enjoyed each and every post he’s written, which is probably why I introduced Lulah’s crush on him into the storyline! He always motivates the agency members and encourages them to continue to do the best they can. The agency wouldn’t be what it is today without him. :)

Clara Dark brings two words to mind: witty and dedicated – actually, make that dedication itself! She cracks me up with her wonderful sense of humor. :D She’s a fantastic Sleuther; even though I’m a director, she’s taught me many things about the game. She always strives for the agency (and puts up with the meetings that we organize that are always in the early hours of the morning for her!) and contributes in every way possible. She’s an active AVL participant and – as Tinuviel said – THE agency Villain Hunter. We love you, Clara!!! :D

Emma Barlowe is wonderful!!! She’s always the one I want to go running to for a hug whenever there’s a problem! She’s a brilliant Recruiting Officer; if it weren’t for her, we wouldn’t have many of the priceless agents that we have today. She’s so much fun to roleplay with – I always look forward to her posts. She’s incredibly warm and, by far, the friendliest person I’ve ever known. She truly helps keep the agency together, making it feel like a family sitting by the fire on Christmas Eve. :)

VOTE FOR JOHN, CLARA & EMMA!!! They're fabulous!!! :D

VOTE CLARA and EMMA.

Clara Dark... the villain hunting goddess. Her accomplishments should be admired by all in the Sleuth community. If you do not admire her then I reserve the right to publicly humiliate you for your ignorance.

Emma Barlowe... the goddess of all that is good and virtuous in the Sleuth community. She is a wonderful fun person who brings so much positive energy to the game. If you do not admire her, I suggest you give her a virtual {{hug}} and then if you still don't admire her, I reserve the right to publicly humiliate you for your ignorance.

Only 30 minutes left to vote! You should vote for Biggie and Lady Jas. They are both real swell.

Who would make fun of Crunch and Serges without these fine ladies around? ; )

MamaTerra could not speak on her own behalf today, as she is on temporary hiatus.

So I will gladly take the soapbox.

Mama "Earthmother" Terra is hands-down, one of the funniest, most sincere, genuinely AWESOME people I have come across in my time here in Sleuth. She is a dedicated teammate, having taken time away from her home in HH: New York to help build the new training facility at HOG. She is a staple in chat, where her wit and her charm are infectious. I have had the pleasure of talking to her outside the game as well, and she strikes me as the kind of person I could see myself being in touch with 10 years down the road.

I remember running into her in chat for the first time. I tried to give her a hard time, as it is alleged I tend to do from time to time. Well... frankly, she didn't take any of my crap. She rose to the challenge and put me in my place, and ever since then we have been friends and colleagues.

Plus, she is absolutely 100% against Britney Spears' new hairstyle.

So remember folks, a vote for MamaTerra is a vote for Britney getting a wig!

Barry opened the morning paper and read the news. He was surprised to see his name in the position it was in. He thought about Mr. Roepel and what a swell guy he was. He was a bit saddened about the outcome but took some solace in the thought that Mr. Roepel would be able to find comfort in the arms of a wonderful woman.
