In honor of that lousy waste of a month February being over, I have decided to hold the first-ever Sleuth March Madness Tournament!

The premise is pretty simple. We compile a list of 64 of the game's most recognizable players, seed them into a tournament bracket, and allow Sleuthville to vote for the "best" in each matchup.

Rules for eligibility:
You must be subscribed and over 30 days old
You must PM me with your intent to enter the tournament or to nominate an eligible member for the tournament. If you are nominating someone, you must also be subscribed and older than 30 days.
Entries and nominations should be messaged ASAP. As soon as we get 64, the seeding process will begin and the matchups will be posted.

After the initial bracket is filled, I will post a few matchups here every day. Then, the people involved in those matchups will have an opportunity to say "anything" on this thread that they feel will allow them to advance to the next round of competition. Sleuthville votes will be what decides the winners, and voting information will be coming soon.

The overall winner of this tournament will receive $100,000 sleuth cash.

Please begin sending your nominations and entries to me ASAP, and good luck!

I apologize for the large size, but that is the bracket template I had to work with.

Information about voting and matchups is coming soon.

The first round of matchups will be announced tomorrow.

Here is how the tournament is going to operate:

Starting tomorrow, every day I will post several matchups from the bracket. Each competitor will have one post's worth of space on this thread to "make a case" for themselves as to why they should advance in the tournament. Each competitor will also be allowed 3 "spokesmen" to speak on their behalf. These spokesmen do not necessarily need to be chosen by the competitor beforehand. NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS ARE ALLOWED.

Once a matchup is posted, voting will open from midnight to midnight, sleuth server time, on the day following the announcement. For instance, the matchups that will be posted on Sunday will be open for voting all day Monday. ANYONE in the game is allowed to vote once per matchup. In order to vote, all you do is send a PM to me listing the competitor you would like to vote for in each matchup. I will tally the votes and post the results, as soon as possible following the deadline. The competitor in each matchup with the most votes advances to the next round of the tournament.

Any questions, feel free to PM me or post them here.

Ok All, since Serges has so graciously set this up, I am going to use it for my own purposes!

I am taking bets from anyone who wants to bet on the bracket. Details coming shortly, but it will be a $100 buy in and winner takes all! If you want to get in, PM me under this name or Biggie528 :)

***OFFICIAL BRACKET POOL ANNOUNCEMENT***

The bracket form has now been set up. In order to receive the link, you will have to submit your $1000 (sorry, the price has been changed due to my cheapness complaints lol) any way you wish. You can do this by PMing me under either Biggie528 or Special_K and making arrangements to transfer the money. I can either invite you to the AVL Clearinghouse London Branch and you can deposit the money in the safe, or send the AVL Courier to you to pick up the money from your agency directly.

Once the money is received, I will PM you the link to the bracket. PLEASE do not pass this address out, I will be able to weed out people who didn't pay but I don't want to have to do a lot of it.

DIRECTIONS FOR FILLING OUT YOUR BRACKET:

Fill your name in the top box called "Characters Name"

Choose the name of your projected from the drop down lists *Please note that if you choose a name in later rounds which you have already eliminated, it will be considered null and you will not move forward, so look carefully at who you've already eliminated*

Click the button at the bottom to submit your selections.

To research ahead of time, please check out Serges' fabulous looking brackets at: www.lkentertainment.net/sleuth/brackets.html

**ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST BE IN BY NOON SERVER TIME ON TUESDAY, MARCH 6**

PM me with any questions and good luck!
