Hey I was wondering why you cant join more than one agency. I know people that hold down two jobs at the same time.

Hi Blair,

I can't answer your question precisely, but I suspect it has much to do with the dynamics of holding favours and treasure hunting, as well as fostering friendly competition. Some players do, however, float between agencies by resigning and rejoining, and you can always subscribe a second character.

Not only that, but IRL as well as in the game, my guess would be that I wouldn't want a detective working for me and another agency, in case they passed clues about treasure hunts etc to their other employer.

Simply put, even in real life, I can't physically BE in two places at the same time (much as I would like to, sometimes). So while I'm a Director at my agency, if I want to go help out Crunch at SMRT, I need to physically LEAVE my agency to do that. In this game, that means getting kicked out of or resigning from my own agency before I can join his. Sorry. :-/
