I just want to know if anyone has a knack for getting contacts?
I'm close to 200k and have been doing 4 favors a days for about the last 10 days. And still only one (rubbishy) contact. No p.e. contact.
I am getting really bored and frustrated as I cannot see how I can possibly progress until I get the P.E. contact. The game has become pure tedium. It makes Stu Rid and AI cases just a plain PO.
Any help appreciated. (1 up side is I got tonnes of cash!)

Yeah just hang in there like CFM said. This process is completely random and takes even longer when you are looking for a specific contact.

move cities!
I found that if you're stuck in a city getting contacts, move on. Go to another city and try and get contacts there, get them, come back and try Shanghai again.

Reminds me of the time I was in Delhi - took me weeks to get the random factors to align. Work on your Karma. Help little old ladies down from trees, guide kittens across the road and be kind to puppies.
Better still, in your Darkest Moments, just remember that you could be in Darlington. Tedium becomes a breath of fresh air once you have trodden the bin-bag strewn elegance of its chewing gum polka dotted cobbles. Forget about stealing lead from roofs, people have been known to steal the tarmac from the roads in that fair town.....

That thread cfm posted brought back memories. And while I was known for it, kidgame had it worse not getting his PE contact until close to 400k
