I am tired of Ben not doing anything about people who lie, cheat, and steal in this game. Ben gives people to many chances. People need to be banned. How many more agencies must suffer the consequences of having rogue detectives join, take sign on bonuses, loot lockers, steal money from safe accounts, and then leave to repeat the process before the administration takes action? Chronestrian left this site for a reason, and I spoke to him shortly before he quit. I honestly told him that the site was not going to change and that people would continue to abuse the system without any fear of punishment. Enough is enough. I call upon the denizens of Slueth to support my referendum. Ben must take action against repeat offenders.

Long what do you MEAN people don't put sugar in their ice coffee?

OF COURSE they do.

POLL TIME:

Is this an odd thing to do?

I remember having to teach the Mem Sahib how to make a proper cup of tea - Warm the pot, take the pot to the kettle, one spoon for each person and one for Nanny and all that.

All this cold water business just doesn't work - you are just making a tea flavoured beverage.

At least you are moving away from throwing the tea into large amounts of salt water.....

I cant imagine drinking ANY kind of coffee without sugar and cream. So No, I dont think adding sugar to Iced Coffee is an odd thing to do.

But my Ice tea I dont drink with any sugar. I do however drink my hot tea with sugar and cream.

I don't really like coffee, but for some reason, I do enjoy a good iced coffee and OF COURSE I put some sugar in it! It would be like bitter nastiness if I didn't.

I also loved iced tea...just iced tea, no sugar or anything. And you could get it anywhere in New York instead of soda and stuff. When I moved to Canada, I was SOOOO UPSET to see that when you asked for iced tea in restaurants and cafes, they would bring you that really sweet canned crap. They had like no idea what I meant when I asked if they had unsweetened iced tea. Ugh! I actually had to buy an iced tea maker (makes cold tea in like 5 minutes) from the States and get it shipped here. I need me some cold tea in the summer, ya know? It does get really hot up here, too.

hehehe i still cant get over putting cream in tea, that's unheard of over here too. Milk yes, cream no. Its strange how things are done so differently in different countries.

Very hard to get a decent cup of tea these days.

So many people use those "bag on a string" thingies and dangle them in a cup of rapidly cooling water. You lose all the top notes of the tea if you don't use boiling water and keep it as hot as possible.

Cool it after it has been brewed, by all means.

Useless fact time. Tea originated in China. Britain blockaded all the Chinese ports to force them to buy our opium (back in our glory days as the guys in the black hats) and made them give us tea plants. We then took them to our plantations in India. The tea there was allowed to ferment before drying, which is why the Brits drink black tea rather than Chinese green tea, which is much less bitter.

Hello? Anyone still awake?......
