I am tired of Ben not doing anything about people who lie, cheat, and steal in this game. Ben gives people to many chances. People need to be banned. How many more agencies must suffer the consequences of having rogue detectives join, take sign on bonuses, loot lockers, steal money from safe accounts, and then leave to repeat the process before the administration takes action? Chronestrian left this site for a reason, and I spoke to him shortly before he quit. I honestly told him that the site was not going to change and that people would continue to abuse the system without any fear of punishment. Enough is enough. I call upon the denizens of Slueth to support my referendum. Ben must take action against repeat offenders.

I have to agree with cfm... It is sort of our own fault for not handling this as a community when we DO have the tools to do so.

I'm sorry you got hit, Chelsea. I've been saying the same thing for months now. I've asked repeatedly for a Code of Conduct, a banning of repeat offenders, and other measures to try to make the community a bit more ethical and safer. My subscriptions will be expiring soon, and I don't plan to renew them unless SOMETHING changes for the better. I'm hoping I won't have to do that, but I guess money really does talk. :-/

We have never had a single person ever complain to me or Sunny about Werber#2 (or any associated account). So, without prior complaints, we don't consider this to be a repeat offense.

I suggest everyone just blacklist the little bugger. Don't let him in any agencies, don't pay him any mind when he messages you one of his infamous, foul-mouthed little rants...just ignore him and he will eventually go away.

It sounds to me like his mommy and daddy need to give him a good ol' fashioned spanking!! And maybe take away his computer privileges. *SMACKITY SMACK*

Ben, we assume you watch the boards at least somewhat closely to see that this has been going on for quite some time now?

Ben clearly is not going to take charge in this matter. I suggest that the board create a list of offenders and repeat offenders. When Werber approached our agency with his ridiculousness we turned him away, but I made it a point to keep tabs on his whereabouts, messaging the agency directors he was joining, and warning them of his actions. Later when he decided to start up his own agency, I took the time to inform the newcomers to this site about who they have just joined.

I think starting a blacklist or a warning list of individuals may be an easier way of handling this, as it clearly isn't going to go away on its own. Ben once again is keeping quiet on the matter, so let's resolve this ourselves.

We tried this last time we had a major-thief in Sleuth... And it didn't stop it from happening this time...

We have the tools to keep thiefs from bay by just making equipment for directors or officers only - USE THEM!
