Treasure-hunting groups...

(I haven't worked on a treasure hunt yet, but hope to within a few days...)

In realistic terms, is it possible to a be competitive treasure-hunting team with only 2-4 people?

I couldn't help but notice that the leading agencies are typically warehouses full of agents, and am curious if that's the route I'll need to go to have a chance at winning a hunt someday...

Having a lot of active detectives in your agency is a very big advantage. That said, Meyers & Seymore have won two hunts, and there are only two detectives in that agency. So, size isn't everything. There are definitely some specific strategies that can be used by an agency to maximize their chance of winning a hunt.

Smaller agencies probably have a better chance at less valuble treasures (3000-4000) because those require fewer steps (favors) to complete.

A lot of it has to do with luck, too. Yesterday I performed two treasure-related favors.. you never know.
