I am totally addicted to this game! But I just started playing it a few weeks ago. My question is should I join now, or wait to devlop my character first. Also, because I am so addicted I actually made 3 characters (I know, very embarressing). They are all on easy, so if anyone knows how to make the jump to intermediate, I would greatly appreciate the info. Oh, so if I join, which of these characters do you think is the best (they are all on the easy level):

liz12345:

Skills: Stress Detection, Sweet Talking, Lock Picking, Interrogation, Intimidation, Rule Bending

Experience: 290
Archetype: Very Tough
Age: 14 days
Gender:male
Money: $2270
Background: Reformed Burglar

imhappy:

Skills: Intermediate Sweet Talking, Judge of Character, Interrogation, Rule Bending, Thread Analysis

Experience: 530
Archetype: Tough and Charming
Age: 15 days
Gender: female
Money: $2170
Background: Moonlighting Dilettante

imhappy818:

Experience: 450
Archetype: Tough and Smart
Age: 13 days
Gender: male
Money: $440
Background: Disillusioned Police Detective

Skills: Footprint Analysis, Rule Bending, Interrogation, Stress Detection, Sweet Talking

Thanks for all your help!!!!

Join now, you can get a 15% off side kick coupon from any subscriber.

You can subscribe as many of your detectives as you wish, but I would recomend that you pick one and build that one up first.

Once you subscribe you can join an agency and get help with building your skills, better gear etc.

If it were me, and you really want to choose one of the above, maybe imhappy, just because of your skill choices. While most of us who started out trying to figure out the game on our own have all picked poorly with our skills from the beginning, I think he will be the one with the least complications later on.

Since you are so young, I'd probably go ahead and just start a new detective and take what I've learned so far and apply it to the new one. In general, its recommended that you don't try mixing tough and charm skills when starting out. Pick one and stick with it until MUCH later in the game.

I also wouldn't worry about stress detection or judge of charcter til later either, and would put research at the top of list. I know some people will have other views on those choices too. *still has no intention of ever purchasing stress detection*
