I am smart and charming. I have 100 experience points and 30 skills points. I am 2 days old. I am playing the easy level. I want to buy something at the dective shop but I am not sure which one to buy. My choice is the pocket watch or the magnifying glass. I am leaning toward the magnifying glass. Is the pocket watch any helpful?

I think the smart skills are important, I need to get more of them.... it is QUICKER to eliminate suspects that way. I am the same archtype as you but had a hard time doing harder cases without the smart skills. So basically I ditto castamir for now... course I have some high charming equipment now.. might lean more to smart later on.. I don't have much choice now in equip as I don't belong to an agency.
So basically get the magnifying glass :) YOu might pick up something neat during favors.. if not you can get a watch later ;).
