I know from reading other threads here that there are many, many fans of the classic mystery authors like Conan Doyle and Christie, as well as many fans of more contemporary authors like Sanford and Patterson.

I'll admit it: though I read and enjoy those books myself, my guilty pleasures these days are what are commonly referred to as cozy mysteries. Anyone else read anything like that? Janet Evanovich? Leslie Meier? Jerrilyn Farmer?

I read Janet Evanovich. Like crazy. I'm addicted to her Stephanie Plum Series. I own every book of the series including the two holiday novellas. I can't wait for the 13th one to come out in June.
