The car came to a halt. Amanda stepped out of the car. "See you shortly." She said to Ran. The car pulled away from the sidewalk. Amanda watched it start to drive away, and then turned and headed for City Hall. Once she got there she hoped to search through the Hall of Records.

The taxi came to s slow roll when the car came to a stop and let the woman out. "You want me to fallow the cars still or the woman?" came the rough voice of the taxi driver.

Looking out the window the elegant lady noticed that the woman was heading into the hall of records..eyes narrowing."Follow the car. Dont loose them!" The "OR" was implied.

Leaning back in the taxi , comtemplating where Mr. R Anstett was going. There were only a hand full of places he would be going. Smiling to herself. Knowing how smart her plan was... that he was unknowingly following where she wanted him to go. She settled in for the ride across town to the music studio. The smile not leaving her face!

He stood on the street corner just down the block from The Cacophony Conservatory. The noise in there could be pleasent. Then again it could sound like an 80 year old woman with arthritis playing the banjo or a 4 year old with a wooden spoon in the kitchen.

Watching the streets, with Yang and the car right down the block to come on a moments notice. Looking towards city hall and hoping someone could dig something up to help them out.

Pearl Diver left her music lesson at the conservatory with her banjo. She was frustrated that her arthritis was getting in the way of her learning the more complicated chords and fingering but her doctor suggested it might help. She had her violet scarf tied around her neck as she passed a young man dawdling at the corner. She decided to stop at the market on the way home.

Amanda reached City Hall. Once inside she started to look for information of the mudered detective. This was the best part of being a detective, searching through newspaper articals, photos...

After and hour she found the detectives name was Non. Non was married and had 2 kids. And possibly liked jello shots? Amanda frowned. She still hadn't found anyone who might have a motive. Of course it could be a disgruntled client. She had some friends who were lawyers, until an angry client came and shot everyone in the office. She shuddered.

Then she found somthing. Non was a regular at the local Bar. Amanda decided to try there next. But first she had to meet Ran outside the Music Studio.

Pearl Diver decided to give up the banjo. Her practicing was annoying her neighbors. She decided to take up the drums instead and stopped at the music school to see if they offered lessons.

She discovered the intials "VP" embroidered onto the violet scarf she found when she got home. She decided that "VP" would probably miss such a pretty scarf so on her way to the music school, she stopped at City Hall and dropped it off at the lost and found.

The air of the city was always freshest earlier in the morning. A man took a deep breath. A lot of memories came flooding back. It has been a very long time since he's been here. He looked up at the skyscrapers and remembered when his office was at the top of one of them.

He continued on, not exactly sure where he wanted to go first.

Amber was walking the streets of New York aimlessly. Her legs were aching and her mind was working overtime. She didn’t know where to look for Becky.

When Amber first heard the report of Becky’s disappearance, she didn’t give it much thought. Becky knew how to take care of herself. She was one of the tougher girls back in high school. She figured Becky would turn up eventually. Besides, Amber hadn’t spoken to Becky in years. Why should she worry? Becky had written Amber off the day Becky accused Amber of flirting with her husband.

Amber frowned when she thought of Becky’s ex-husband, Derrick. He was a cad and it was he who made the advances. Not just to Amber but to several of Becky’s friends.

Amber stopped at the park and sat down on a bench to rest a bit. She leaned back and allowed the sun to warm her face.

When she heard the news that Becky might be involved with HYDRA, and her life was in danger she couldn’t get Becky off her mind. Amber knew what she had to do. She decided to pack her bags and head to New York. Despite all the years of pent up anger, she still cared a great deal about her old friend and Amber would do everything in her power to find her.
