All of us most have some oppressed memories of movie scenes we rather not think about. And they don't necessarily have to be bloody or totally gross. For some awkward reason they might have disgusted us personally. Let's have a catharsis here and get rid of those "memorable" moments.

My "favorite" scene comes from George Orwell's 1984 where Big Brother pulls out a tooth barehandedly from the character played by John Hurt. Gross......

Llama Lord--Hannibal in the flashback where he suggests that the man (name escapes me) feed his face to the dogs.

Sara Lou-- The Sixth Sense when you see the first dead person. The woman in the pink robe. And Cole says "Mama?" and the dead woman turns around and says, "NO LENNY! DINNER ISN'T READY! YOU CAN'T HURT ME ANYMORE!" or whatever. and she shows her cuts. UGH!

2 Fast 2 Furious when Vernon or whoever puts the rat on the detectives stomach and puts the bucket over the rat. OMG. I have to cover my eyes then.

I repeat:

The thing with the horse in Jackass2.

Not the first thing-- the second thing. Also the thing with the hose and the face mask.

I'm pretty wuss-tacular too, so I don't watch me too many horror movies. The syringe thing Raven, though -- totally. But one of the most terrible things I've ever scene was a rape scene in that French movie 'Irreversible'. Almost unbearable, that was.

I, too, am a wuss when it comes to horror movies. The only reason I watch them is to be able to snuggle into the hubby when the scary parts come one :D.

but the most cringeworthy one I've seen is in The Silence of the Lambs. The same one that Sara Lou said. That is freaky deaky.

Another Hard to Watch one is in "Bastard Out of Carolina". That whole movie is Disturbing.

Gotta go with the dinner scene in Hannibal. Feeding a guy his own brain? STILL makes me cringe.

We almost walked out of that movie Serges. Instead I spent all but the first 10 minutes with my head under my husbands coat. Peeking every once in a while. It was horrible.

I love horror movies, but the "horror" movies today can't be defined as horror anymore, they aren't scary they are just gross. They should be called "gorror."

For me the most disgusting movie I've ever seen was Passion of the Christ. I can't stand Mel Gibson anymore for making that movie. Yuck. Now he's come out with Apocolypto, and it, apparently, is beyond disgusting as well. I had several patrons walk out of that movie demanding their money back because it was so disturbing. I won't watch it, even if it is the best movie ever made.

Lol. Sheesh, I've been a tyrade about the movies these past few days, eh?

I agree with Ranier. It's a whole new genre out there called "Gorror" Movies like the Saw trilogy and Hostel. And a bunch more. The goal seems to be get as much gore and nastiness in the movie as possible.
