Lady Jas had a technical malfunction with her mouse that resulted in her getting three false accusations (one of the perils of using a laptop computer). A lot of good people have rallied around her, but she has just lost a detective with oversix million xp.

I realise that there are many who know Lady Jas better, but I would just like to lend my support to a request for having her detective re-instated. Please feel free to add your condolences and support below.

Thankyou.

Maybe a way of being reintroduced "on probation" for detectives more than a certian number of days old with reliable excuses (honor system). For those detectives, shady will charge double normal, and take half of what they earn for the next year...

Erm, could I respectfully request that Sleuths of a certain level of experience get the chance of returning from the dead? This could be the same for everyone of over 2million experience. When Sherlock Holmes went over the Richenbach Falls the public outcry was such that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle had little choice but to bring him back.

I am very aware that the number of spurious claims must be a serious dampner on what is, frankly, just a game after all. However, this would be a way of fairly reinstating Jas and also adding a perk for all those Mycrofts out there who give so much time and effort to the game.

If we did have such a policy, there would be no point in adding the act of god contingency. We can't tell if somebody did in fact have a technical glitch or a spilled soda or a monkey in their computer room. All we know is that they clicked on "Accuse" and then "Yes" on the next page. Three times.

So, if people really want an unretirement policy that can be used for one free redo for any purpose, we can consider that. However, it would have to have official rules and limitations that are consistent and confirmable. Requiring people to come up with a story that is sufficiently sad is not a good idea, as it would essentially be a popularity contest.

True - but as a perk of reaching a certain level of experience?

If it had been me at my level of experience - I would have gone into that dark night and not raged against the dying of the light. But for someone with millions of experience points? They would not have made a mistake deliberately and they are all people who are adding to the overall Sleuth experience. The opportunity for improvement or the drawing of a line?

I know for a fact that jas would not make this story up just for the heck of it. And she does not make up sob stories, or do it for any kind of popularity at all. She could care less how little or how many friends she has. She has done soo much for me, my fellow agency members, and other members on sleuth and she never expects anything in return from us. She's one of the nicest people I have EVER met in my life!!!

If a new policy and official rules were established, couldnt the detective just send an email or PM to Sleuth Admin and ask for the 1 more chance clause? That would eliminate a need for a sad story and there wouldnt need to be posts made about it. Everyone gets 1 chance, and maybe if you are over a certain experience level.

I am going to be repetitive, I apologize.
What about adding an extra FA allowance based on Exp points?
Example:
0 - 5 million exp - 3 FA's retires account
6 - 15 million exp - 4 FA's retires account
15 - 40 Million exp - 5 FA's retires account

We have increased the number of cases we can work on per day, but Shady is still pretty expensive, especially now that money is also being spent on apartments.
