Okay, for all of you who have toughed out the disagreements, the bugs, the laughs and the heartache...here's a place to post some of your fondest memories. Whether its in the techniques, attitudes, or just long lost friends....

I imagine many of the respsonse can begin with,

I remember when....

Well, I am only 50 days old but I have to second Ms Helen when she said "I remember the first time I joined an agency and how scared I was, thinking I would do something wrong and get kicked out. "

I don't think I can forget that feeling. And how I was scared of possible misunderstandings. I think I must have made Night Queen roar with laughter many times because of the worried PM's I sent. Lol. I am leaving this here to see it years later, ok :)

This thread is fun to read! Great job, cfm :)

May I never tire of getting PM's from Eden or anyone else. That would be the time to hang this all up. I love solving clues, TH's, AVH's, and exploring pyramids, but the interactions with everyone is the real flavor of this site.

When I was new, I know I asked a lot of questions too. Par for the course. I always appreciated people giving me hints and advice when I first started. It is my pleasure and joy now to return the favor. It doesn't even matter to me if I share with members of a rival agency or to the unsubscribed.

I started out with Eye Spy. It was amazing to me that a lowly pawn like me could participate in the top-ranked (at that time) agency. Of course Woody ran circles around me, but he always took the time to graciously help me out.

Then when I much later started Night Queen and joined Vampiric Crypt, I learned so much more from Vampiric Smile and Zweibel on how to fine tune TH's. Those two had it down to a science.

It is now my turn to provide an agency where fond memories can be had. That is my ultimate goal.

For all the veterans that are rediscovering their pasts. Hope you enjoy this thread as much as I did when I stepped back in a few months ago.

I remember those long, hysterically funny nights in Bar Chat with Heimlich vonVictor, Riza Hawkeye, Anais Nin, Ms. Helen, Adam Carter, Marc Lacrimosa, Charlie Cain and Joseph Zeo. I oughta hunt up our old Bar chat thread. That was definitely the golden age for me!

I remember how much FUN we had back in the day. Treasure hunts and AVH's and message boards on fire--it was just so much FUN. Remember?

When the game glitches and clammed townies get to be too much, I like to revisit happy memories. Hope you'll enjoy a few, and add to the list yourself!

I remember when I was a newbie and didn't want to be that person who asked a question that had already been asked and answered, so I read every single post on the newbie board and on sleuth talk. Then when the Underground recruited me I read their boards. I couldn't understand why the directors kept pming me to see if everything was OK and did I have any questions. I remember a time when three strikes and your detective was permanently retired. I remember when single city treasure hunts could and would be won in ten minutes or less. I remember fierce but friendly treasure hunt rivalries.
