twists unlocking suspects

I have never had a suspect unlocked due to the twists (to the best of my knowledge) so I have been starting to look out for them. TOday I had the twist with the photo of a kind of haunted house/scary building and it said that there was more to the victims sister than I had thought. When I continued, the sister Prudence was not part of my suspects list.
Does this really happen or is it a sleuth urban legend? : )

me too on both accounts and it was weird because I couldn't figure out where that new suspect came from...!

I also got a suspect with the police one. But as far as I know the photo one is still the same - no new suspect.

The dream twist where you're looking through photos does NOT unlock a new suspect. I am just verifying it because my current case had that twist and it did not unlock a new suspect.
